Right now TurtleDove is awaiting a new installation location in Colorado. We are all waiting for blue skies and the return to a new normal. So, here’s a preview.This is close up of the Dove side as I worked this winter with my new heater in the garage. The sub-straight of the sculpture is recycled satellite dishes, mangled and reformed into a new shape ready for the stained glass application. The turquoise thinset cement forms both the smooth base of the sculpture and the grout.I love the color of stained glass and how reflective it is when we have our Colorado blue skies.
