Jawbreaker makes its debut in Grand Junction Colorado

Grand Junction is always welcoming the Art On The Corner Artists with a reception, art walk and an art festival all wrapped up in a great get away weekend.

The ultimate candy as a child is a large jawbreaker that you can’t even get in your mouth. Trying to finish one of these large sugary orbs is one of the delightful memories that I cherish. Visiting the five & dime with a pocket full of pennies and coming out with a bag full of candy to share.

Each Jawbreaker is surrounded by iridescent glass frames for the sparkle needed to gain the viewers eye.
I’m always testing outside my studio for ease of assembly and the final look of the sculpture.
